Hello Reader,
September is here, and if you’re anything like me, it feels like someone just pressed the fast-forward button. Today is actually the first day of school for my kids. Naomi is starting high school (where did the time go?!) and Gavin is heading into Grade 7. ❤️
September brings fresh new schedules, new teams, new routines and, of course, a whole new to-do list. And somehow, all of that usually doesn’t mean we slow down. It means we go faster. But while we can’t always let go of our responsibilities, we can do what we can to help our bodies feel good while we’re living this busy life.
And a lot of that comes down to habits. I’m not talking about a crazy workout regime or spending hours at the gym. I’m talking about creating a 5–10 minute daily habit of taking care of your body — the asset that allows you to enjoy the life you are building.
And that brings me back to why this workshop is happening.
For years, some of my closest friends have said to me, “Silvia, you should teach what you do.”
But life doesn't always get quieter. And our capacity doesn't magically increase because we keep pushing.
That is actually one of the reasons this workshop feels so important to me.
For more than 25 years, I've been researching, developing and using these techniques in my practice. I've watched how people respond when they finally give their bodies a different kind of attention.
I've also listened to the questions you ask me: “What can I do for this at home?” “Why am I still so tight?” “Why do I feel like I'm doing everything right but something still feels off?”
Those questions are what pushed me to finally teach this.
The NeuroLift Fascial Alignment Workshop isn't about giving you another list of exercises to add to your already-full schedule. It's about giving you an experience.
It's about understanding your body differently, learning specific techniques and beginning to understand how tension, mobility, alignment, breath and your nervous system all play a role in how you feel and move.
And yes, I want my men there too. This isn't just for women. So if you've been asking me about it, this is your invitation.
Bring your partner. Bring a friend. Come by yourself. Just don't keep putting yourself last.
